The Origin Of YouTube

YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim said the inspiration for YouTube first came from Janet Jackson’s role in the 2004 Super Bowl incident, when her breast was exposed during her performance, and later from the 2004 Indian Occean tsunami. Karim could not easily find video clips of either event online, which led to the idea of a video sharing site.

Google bought YouTube in November 2006 for US$1.65 billion.

I call it US$1.65 billion inspiration/idea.

Today you can watch any video you want on YouTube. Any event, whether in the past or present you can watch it on YouTube.
Someone made it possible.

In the Tech World, it’s all about problem solving.
The goal is, you see a problem, you try and solve it. Help people do what they want to do. To make an impact. Even if it means going against all odds.
But there will surely be a reward.

The likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezoz, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk etc turned their idea into a multi-billion dollar company, They were just trying to solve a problem.
